Sometimes you buy something that looks good on the sales page, but not so good when you get it. Not this. This is a lovely little clock and very easy to use. Out of the box it took under a minute to set up without reading the user manual.
The clock has various functions such as changing the display brightness, changing the night light brightness, you’re able to set 2 alarms and has a countdown timer. It has daylight saving mode and automatic display dimming so it goes dimmer when the room lights are off at night. The night light is not bright enough to light up a room, but bright enough to help see where you’re going in the dark, and the brightness can be adjusted. You can also change the display colours from multi coloured patterns to solid colours too.
Along with the remote control which included a battery, and USB cable, there is a handy paper template to make the wall mounting holes. It also comes with 2 mounting fixings, although I used a couple of screws instead.
I did have to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive, but the delivery updates helped me keep an eye on its progress. Overall, I am very happy with this clock and highly recommend it.
EDIT: One thing I didn’t notice from first using the clock was the multi colour display patterns. There are 2 settings and what I thought were 2 different static multi colour patterns, they both actually slowly cycle different multi colour patterns (i.e, blue and green to orange and yellow to red and purple etc). One setting slowly sweeps from left to right, and the other slowly sweeps from bottom to top.
Although I would have preferred a static multi coloured patterns, the slow sweeping colour changes are very nice and not distracting.
